Howdy!!

How is everyone?? Havent been here in a few months, havent really had time to do anything creative. Still working on the same project I was back in April, just havent finished it yet. I am still doing CTMH & working Sundays at Micheals demonstrating Provo Craft products & LOVING IT!! Other than that there isnt a whole lot of excitement going on. However..... I have just started a new blog called MAMA Vs Crazy Life. Its here on blogspot so please check it out, I will be there daily ranting about the craziness of my life. Getting ready to demo the Cricut Cake!

I had a great time in Chicago, stayed at the Hilton, met lots of wonderful gals & learned some new & inspiring ideas. Saturday night took the "L" subway with Jennie, Priscilla, Robin & 7 other gals to downtown Chicago, got lots of pics that I still need to upload(you know me, might be a week or so before their on here LOL) & Sunday night got to eat at Ginos East pizzaria!! Loved the Chicago pizza pies YUMMO!! Came home on Monday,Not a big fan of flying but it only took 3 hours 40 minutes from O'Hare to SFO. I'd like to thank the person that invented Xanax, kept me sane while on the plane =) So this Sunday is my first Demo at Michaels, Im not nervous but sure wish I had more supplies than what I got in the kit. I already know Im going to power thru the frosting sheets & really want to demo gum paste with it as well so I might need to play with that until I get it right. Anyhoo....still working on my envelope mini album, just need to bind it & get all the embellishments on & then I get it photographed & loaded on here sometime within the next year I promise! =) Have a great week everyone Hugs, Kathie V. =)

Heading to CHICAGO!!

Woo Hoo Im going to Chicago! I am going to a seminar for Provo Crafts Cricut Expression to learn how to demonstrate these craft related must needed machines. I happen to own one & love it & I think EVERYONE who does paper crafting should own one too. I love to use my CTMH paper with the cricut to make tags, envelopes, cards, garlands & beautiful scrapbook pages. Right now Im working on an envelope mini album using the Cricut & CTMH paper & supplies. I got an wonderful package from my CTMH Upline Susan Tomaino yesterday & I am making her one of these mini albums as a thank-you!! (shh dont tell her its a surprise) So I leave Friday for the Windy City for three days of training and come back on Monday. I will be demonstrating the Cricut at my local Michaels for starters, not sure if I'll get the Costco & Joannes stores in the future but sure hope I do! Finally I am able to work doing the two things I love-Working for CTMH as an independant consultant & demonstrating the Cricut at local craft stores. I am going to try & finish up one of the mini albums Im making & get it posted before I leave friday but dont hold your breath LOL!! I'll be lucky if I get everything done before I leave for my trip! Tuesday Teasers

Hi Everyone Hope ya all had a great Easter! We spent it with family, dyeing eggs, stufffing baskets & just hanging out enjoying everyones company. After church we had broasted chicken, my homemade potatoe salad & I made my first ever pineapple upside down cake! Wasnt sure how it was going to turn out but everyone seemed to enjoy it ("Whew")! Never knew how easy they are to make, I will definately make more in the future. Well, thanks to my sister taking the time to photograph my Easter Accordian book I FINALLY have it posted!! (Thanks again Kerrin your awesome!) All of the images are cut from my Cricut carts & a few Cottage Cuts dies. The frame on the front of the book is cut from a sizzix frame die. I used chipboard for the frame then painted it white & then used thick clear embossing powder & embossed it twice to get the texture that I wanted. The Daffodihl on the frame is from the new cricut easter cart & I LUV it!! Other supplies used are CTMH ink & Colorbox chalk for shading effects,stickles, glitter, ribbon & Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist was used for the tags. All of the solid cardstock used is from CTMH which I happen to be a demonstrator for so if you need any scrapbooking supplies be sure & let me know =) Thanks for taking the time to stop by.

Finished the Easter accordian Book!!!

Woo Hoo! I am FINALLY done with this Easter accordian book "WHEW"! Took me over 2 weeks with what little time I had to work on it thanks to everyday life & a VERY demanding MIL who took up most of my free time.(we wont go there) So I am off to take pics & get them loaded up here, YAY! Im wiped out & its only Tuesday!!

SO glad the weather has been beautiful here in Nor Cal. Too bad I cant enjoy it! I have been so busy between running around for my MIL & taking care of bills & other business that I havent had a chance to work on the Easter accordian album like I wanted too!! (Im feeling sorry for myself right now, is it obvious?) So I decided that Tomorrow Wed. the 23rd I am doing absolutely nothing EXCEPT finishing up this project so I can get it loaded up here for ya all to see!! Then I can start on a few more scrapping projects =) See ya tomorrow! Hugz

WOW this week flew by!

Well here it is Thurs. night already & Im just about done creating stuff for the Easter accordian book Im making-(changed it from a garland to a book instead) So Im hoping by Saturday I'll have it completed & I'll post the pics! Took a break from it today & went to the LSS & grabbed a couple colorbok eye chalks I desperately needed. My old Citrus yellow eye was just about dead & in serous need of replacement. The foam had fallen off the plastic & was starting to tear in places & really didnt have much color left to give, got my moneys worth outta that one!! I've made some fun stuff for this accordian book with my easter cricut cart,luv luv luv the daffodils! Im also having a ball with the paperdoll carts, now I just need some peachy keen face stamps which I wont be able to purchase til month but thats ok, I have enough to keep me busy in the meantime =) I'll do my best to get this all done & posted by Sat. afternoon because everyone who knows me knows that I'll be watching the New Moon DVD that goes on sale Mar. 20th, WOO HOO!! I'll be busy eating popcorn & watching it Saturday night, giving my cricut a well needed rest. =)

Monday Already???

WOW! Cant believe its Monday AGAIN! I have a few errands to run this morning then Im starting on my Easter Garland Kreation for an older gentleman here in town. Long story short....I went to my local Savemart where I have a scrapbook friend who is a cashier to show her a few of my latest Kreations. An older gent was in line behind me & fell in love with my Valentine garland! He ooohed & awwwed & asked how much I would charge for something like that & if I would kindly make him an Easter one for his Lady friend who lives in Alabama. How could I say No to that?? So I figured $25 bucks & he was good with that amount so YAY! I made a sale! Really got me in the mood to do this so when Im finished which could be tomorrow or next Tuesday depending on what life throws at me, I'll be sure & post a pic!! Hope ya all have a great day, Hugs! Tuesday Soupday!

Mother Nature is thinking about sending me some snow tonight, isnt that thoughtful of her?? So I've decided to make homemade Minestrone soup for dinner. I make it a lil diffferent than the traditional. I'll be using my home made soup base & throw in some carrots, fresh spinach,tiny macaroni shells,celery, some white beans,onion, garlic & pepper. Then I top off everyones bowl with some grated parmesan.....Yummo!! I hear my windchimes singing loudly in the wind, guess the storm is coming faster than I thought, better get started on the soup now! Stay warm everyone. Scrappin Hugs! =)

So I have my pics of my latest papercrafting kreations ready to upload & share with you but first there are a couple things I need to do......
1st of all, I would like to congratulate Penny D. & Catherine A. for winning my lil contest I had on here last week. The first person that responded to my blog won a small goodie bag of scrapbooking supplies. HOWEVER.....Cath was the 1st to post something but at the same time Penny emailed me to say she couldnt figure out how to become a follower & leave a message on here. LOL I luv you Penny, you always crack me up!! ;)
So....I am pretty sure it was a tie, look for your goodies coming soon in your mailbox!

Next I have to run to DMV & get my Jeep registered this could take anywhere from 10 minutes to 5 hours depending on how much coffee the employess have consumed & if their in a good mood or not.
Then I have to pay a few more bills & then I'll be back to FINALLY upload my pics.

What a Day!!

Whew! I am wiped out!! Drove my MIL all over the place today for MD appt.s & such, its exhausting yanking her wheelchair in & out of the back of my jeep everytime we stop someplace, its 9:20 pm & I cant keep my eyes open!!! Im usually up past midnight but tonight Im hitting the sheets in about 10 minutes.
Tomorrow I hope to stay home ALL DAY LOL! I'll be making a few scrapbook pages for my Neice Jennas 1st birthday that we just celebrated, it was a blast. =)
I am also hoping to post about 4 of my newest Kreations so check back later in the afternoon!

Is it Friday yet??

I just spent the day, taking my MIL to the pharmacy, K-mart & the eye Doc. She'll be having cataract surgery next Tuesday so I'm getting some scrapping items together to keep my self busy,  she'll be there for over 2 hours.
Im still waiting for my router so I can upload my Kreations, right now Im using the kids slowpoke computer just so I can get online, I sure miss playing with my laptop!
So, in the meantime....Im off to create some more Goodies!! =D
